Installation and commissioning

This section specifies the procedures to follow during the unpacking and transportation of the Conveyor Belt (v2).

Transport

Be sure to transport the Conveyor Belt (v2) in its original packaging so that it doesn’t get damaged.

Intended use

Niryo’s Conveyor Belt (v2) is for educational, and research and development purposes, including:

  • learning robotics;

  • research and development in robotics;

  • simulation and prototyping of complete industrial scenarios such as “Pick & Place” (take an object to move it), “Pick & Pack” (take an object to insert it into a packaging).

The operations below do not comply with the uses set by Niryo. They include:

  • Use as a children’s toy;

  • use for industrial tasks;

  • use that exceeds the stated specifications.

Any use of the Conveyor Belt (v2) and its ecosystem that does not comply with the uses initially intended by Niryo must be expressly authorized by Niryo.

Unpacking and installation

  1. Inspect the packaging of the Conveyor Belt (v2) to make sure nothing is damaged;

  2. remove the packaging and make sure that the product has not been damaged in any way and that nothing has been mislaid during transport;

  3. put the Conveyor Belt (v2) in a location that has been specifically allocated to its use;

  4. pay attention to the commissioning and safety instructions.

  • Make sure the Conveyor Belt (v2) is correctly handled so it can’t fall during packing, loading, unloading or unpacking. There are handling areas to facilitate the transportation of the Conveyor Belt (v2).
